The Film Museum in Düsseldorf's Old Town is one of seven film museums in Germany. On more than 2,200 square metres, a permanent exhibition presents insights into the world of film. In addition to a reconstructed film studio, there is also all kinds of technical equipment from the early history of cinematography, decorations, props and costumes. On four floors, visitors can explore the history of film from its earliest beginnings to the present day.
