The Marktkirche in Essen is located in the heart of Essen's city centre at the Marktplatz and was the first church build by Essen’s citizenship as well as the starting point of the Reformation in 1563. Since September 2006, the Protestant church maintains a church re-entry centre in the Marktkirche, which is open every Wednesday. Only a few minutes' walk away, you will find our parking facilities in a central location in Essen.
