The so-called Witches' Tower was built in the 12th century as part of the inner city wall and the North Gate and is the best-preserved tower of this complex. At that time, the North Gate separated the city of Fulda from the monastery district. At first it was called the "Turm am Frauentörlein". In the later Middle Ages it was used as a women's prison. It was not until the 19th century that the name "Hexenturm" (witches' tower) became established. Our Q-Park car parks are only a few metres' walk from the Hexenturm. There you can quickly and comfortably park your car for a visit.
