St Michael's Church was built between 820 and 822 in the pre-Romanesque Carolingian architectural style and is considered the oldest replica of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. This makes the church one of the most important medieval church buildings in Germany. St Michael's Church was largely destroyed in the 10th and 11th centuries, so that only the crypt remains of the original building. After the destruction, the rotunda was extended into a cross shape and a tower was added. Further extensions and extensions followed in the next centuries. Our Q-Park car park is only a few metres' walk from St Michael's Church. There you can quickly and comfortably park your car for a visit.
