Lüneburger Rathaus

Built around 1230 and continually expanded, Lüneburg City Hall is an example of medieval and early modern architecture and today serves as the headquarters of the council and administration of the Hanseatic city of Lüneburg. The town hall is one of the largest medieval town halls in northern Germany. The most historically valuable parts, such as the Prince's Hall, the Mayor's Chamber and the old archives can be visited today with guided tours.
