Echelmeyer Park

Echelmeyer Park is a former cemetery that has been converted into a popular nature area complete with playground and numerous benches. It is located in the northern area of the St. Johann district in Saarbrücken. Even today, the Saarland capital preserves the monuments of the cemetery, which was closed in the 1880s, with an impressive mourning hall. The next walk in the countryside, a visit to the playground or a church service in the directly adjacent St. Michael Church can be combined with a walk through Echelmeyer Park and a parking space in one of our park properties.
