Stiftskirche

The Stiftskirche is located in the middle of Stuttgart's city centre. It is the Protestant regional church in Württemberg. The lower part of the south tower is something special: it is the last structural product of the Staufer period in the whole of Stuttgart. Because of the two unequal towers, the church is considered a landmark of the city. The tower in the west has an octagonal shape and appears very strong, while the southern tower is square and has a pointed roof.
